Mr Shaun Hammond

Mr Shaun Hammond is a specialist complementary therapist in the fields of hypnotherapy,counselling and healing. He is a Member of the General Hypnotherapy Register and validated by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council.

Following registration, Mr Hammond worked as a clinical hypnotherapist in the Churchill Wing of St Mary's Hospital Paddington for seven years in the field of HIV. It is here that his interest in the connection between the subconscious mind and pain, both emotional and physical started. In addition to this, the value of hypnotherapy in reducing the side affects of medication. Following this, he remained in private practice and continued to study various forms of relaxation and meditation and their connection to both pain management and the immune system. For continual professional development he has taken master classes in psychoneuroimmunology and hypnotic anaesthesiology. He now has a special interest in working with the relationship between pelvic pain, trauma, stress and anxiety. Mr Hammond is now also registered with the Complementary and Natural Health Care Council.
