Following the CMA inquiry into the private healthcare sector there are a number of changes that have come into effect on 6th April 2015 that apply to all hospital and clinic operators in the UK.
The order regulates the relationship that healthcare providers have with Consultants and GP’s and requires publication on the website to permit transparency.
The Directors of the company 132 Harley Street are Mr Michael Stafford and Mr J Richard Smith. These two consultants hold 50% of shares each.
Low Value Services – refreshment facilities, use of office equipment & stationery, in-house training and marketing, access to IT facilities.
No Higher Value Services – secretarial/ administrative support and use of consulting rooms
Consultants are charged and pay a lease fee towards their usage of these services.
For Radiology, Physiotherapy and Complementary services a percentage fee is levied.
We consider that this represents a fair market rate.
