Dr Jeronima Teixeira

Dr Jeronima Teixeira is a consultant Gynaecologist/Obstetrician based in London. She is originally from Portugal where she practiced as a consultant and a Professor of Obs/Gyn at the Medical School in Lisbon. She focuses on the wellbeing of the patient and takes a holistic approach to patient care considering the whole person. This view extends to nutrition, lifestyle factors, medication, and emotional life. She specialises in ultrasound scan and also manages and treats pelvic pain, abnormal cervical smears, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, irregular bleeding, vulval disorders, painful intercourse and general gynaecological conditions. She particularly enjoys helping couples in their initial fertility steps again taking and holistic approach.

As a specialist in diagnosing and treating all gynaecological issues, Dr Teixeira has excellent results in managing menopause, (including premature menopause) either with hormone replacement therapy or with non-hormonal treatments.

With a special interest in prevention of cancer and screening for it according to the USA top quality care and as well as a commitment to help patients achieve the best possible quality of life after cancer treatment, Dr Teixeira is passionate about the physical and emotional side effects of cancer treatments for women and ways in which to provide every woman with the care that is best for her as an individual.
