Miss Tania Adib is a Consultant Gynaecologist whose emphasis is on the patient and she takes a holistic view with consideration of nutritional and lifestyle factors as well as medication and surgery.
Miss Tania Adib graduated as a doctor from The Royal Free Hospital and then went on to train in gynaecology at University College London where she went on to do specialist training in Gynaecological Oncology at The Royal Marsden. She was awarded her Medicine Doctorate from University College London in 2005 for her work on the genes implicated in ovarian cancer.
Miss Adib is currently a Lead Consultant at Queen’s Hospital, East London and specialises in the treatment of abnormal cervical screening test results. She also manages and treats pelvic pain, abnormal cervical smears, endometriosis, ovarian cysts irregular bleeding, vulval disorders, painful intercourse and general gynaecological conditions.
As a specialist in diagnosing and treating all gynaecological issues, Miss Adib is an expert in managing the menopause including premature menopause either with hormone replacement therapy or with non-hormonal treatments.
With a special interest in cancer and quality of life after cancer treatment, Miss Tania Adib is passionate about the physical and emotional side effects of cancer treatments for women and ways in which to provide every woman with the care that is best for her as an individual.
